Editorial notice on the public autopsies

Last updated: August 14, 2026.

This is a translation of the Spanish original. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Independence

The public autopsies are independent editorial exercises produced by Ariel Pfeffer from publicly available information, observation, experience as a customer, research and strategic judgement.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the organisation analysed:

Did not commission the autopsy. Did not pay for it. Did not take part in producing it. Did not review it. Did not approve it. Does not necessarily hold a commercial relationship with Ariel Pfeffer or arielpfeffer.com.

2. Public information and interpretation

An autopsy may draw on:

Corporate announcements. Information published by the company. Press coverage. Sector reports. Public data. Experiences available to any customer. Editorial observations and inferences.

Facts, interpretation and hypotheses are kept distinct as far as possible. A strategic hypothesis must not be read as a statement about an internal fact that is not known.

No claim is made to hold confidential, privileged or non-public information, unless expressly stated and legitimately authorised.

3. Currency and corrections

The information reflects the sources and circumstances available on the date of publication or update.

Businesses change. An autopsy may become partly out of date because of later decisions, results or events.

Documented corrections may be sent to hola@arielpfeffer.com. Where appropriate, the content will be corrected or updated transparently.

4. Third-party trademarks and materials

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, products and images belong to their respective owners.

Their use identifies the subject of the analysis and does not imply sponsorship, approval, association or affiliation.

5. Not advice, and not a guarantee

A public autopsy does not replace a private investigation with access to data, interviews, economics, operations and decision-makers.

It does not constitute legal, financial, accounting or investment advice, nor a professional recommendation tailored to a specific company.

The proposals are hypotheses that must be tested. No increase in sales, queues, growth, profitability or any particular outcome is guaranteed.

6. Public and private autopsies

The public autopsies demonstrate a way of thinking using publicly verifiable information.

A private autopsy may incorporate, under agreed conditions:

Internal data. Interviews. Economic information. Operating constraints. Strategic decisions. The design of a pilot.

Editorial autopsies must not be presented as client cases.

7. Artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence may broaden the search, organisation, translation, cross-checking or technical production. The judgement, the hypotheses and the final editorial decisions are the responsibility of Ariel Pfeffer.

Using artificial intelligence tools does not turn an autopsy into an automated report, nor does it delegate intellectual authorship.

8. Right of reply

An organisation or person mentioned may send contextual information, corrections or a reply to hola@arielpfeffer.com.

Receiving a reply does not guarantee that it will be published in full, but it will be assessed in good faith and verifiable errors may be corrected.
